December 23, 1957 — October 6, 2018

Richard J. “Ricky” Kasprzak, 60 of Paxton, formerly of Worcester died peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at UMass Medical Center.
He leaves two brothers, Lennie Kasprzak and his wife Dianne of Charlton and Edward Kasprzak and his wife Lois of Coventry, CT. He is predeceased by a sister, Elaine R. Deignan of Harwich. Richard was born and raised in Worcester, a son of the late Edmund J. and Valida R. (Gibavich) Kasprzak. He also leaves a loving aunt and godmother, Janet McCauley.
Richard will be missed by his three longtime roommates, Mark Ryder, Jason Morin and David Dostuni. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Albert Acheampong of Venture Community Services for all the care and support of Richard over the past several years. In his younger years, Richard was active in the Special Olympics, garnering multiple medals in basketball, softball, bowling, swimming and track and field. He attended Our Lady of Mercy School and the program at the Seven Hills Foundation and most recently attended the adult daycare program at B.A.M.S.I.
Richard was the life of every party. He possessed the unique ability to make you laugh the very first time you met him. His indelible memory guaranteed he would remember you regardless of the amount of time that has passed until your next encounter. He especially enjoyed the Monday night socials at Sh-Booms and later at the KasBah where he was known to dance up a storm regardless of any health issues. He also enjoyed vacations with his roommates and family visits especially during the holidays. Ricky will forever be remembered for his smile, his laugh and a love for his family.
