Rita F. Beauregard

Rita F. (Beando) Beauregard,93, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday April 28, 2018 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Her husband Albert Beauregard died in 2010. Rita is survived by her loving family, a daughter Deborah Whittle of Worcester, two sons Robert Beauregard of Worcester and Michael Beauregard of Bremerton Washington. Rita was the proud grandmother to Sara Jean, Robert, and Richard. Rita also leaves several great grandchildren, and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son Richard Beauregard, three brothers Gerald, James, and William Beando, and three sisters, Cora and Lena Mazzone, and Mary Army.

Rita was born in Worcester daughter of the late Lawrence and Angela (Marino) Beando and has lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Rita worked at At&T for many years, and also the former Zayres Department Store, and Shaw’s Market. She was a member of the YWCA. Rita enjoyed cooking but was most happy when she was with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 10:00AM in the Mausoleum at St John’s Cemetery with burial to follow. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
