Rita C. Bousquet

Rita C. (Bouthillier) Bousquet, 81 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 17, 2022 at the Lutheran Home with her daughter by her side.

Rita was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Jean and Leonie (Lavigne) Bouthillier.  She graduated from Holy Name Catholic High School and has lived in Grafton and Worcester all her life.  Rita was a bookkeeper for the former Tweed’s for 32 years.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, game shows and loved her cats.

Rita’s husband of 57 years, J. Raymond Bousquet passed away on December 22, 2016.  She is survived by a daughter, Michelle A. Barnett and her husband Steven of Worcester; a son, Brian Bousquet and his wife Mary Jane of Rhode Island; five grandchildren, Alyssa Dupont and her husband Bill of Worcester, Bryce Brennan and her fiancé Jacob Rosinsky of Worcester, Joshua Bousquet of Dudley, Kassie Cummings and her wife Victoria of Rhode Island and Joe Cummings of Las Vegas; two great grandchildren, Jak Bousquet and Aubrie Angel Dupont; nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by a son, Mark Bousquet; three brothers, Roger H. Bouthillier, Raymond A. Bouthillier and Joseph F. Bouthillier; and a sister, Theresa Boivin.
