Robbie F. Fair

Robbie F. Fair, 79 of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her home on Lake Quinsigamond.

Robbie was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Rodgers) Fair.  She worked as the human resource manager for various business in Worcester County including Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology, Odd Fellows Home, The Blaire House and most recently Campos Landscaping.  Robbie was a longtime member of St. Anne’s Church.

Robbie’s husband of 30 years, John J. Barone, Jr. passed away on March 16, 2014.  She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Fair and his wife Amy DaSilva of Shrewsbury with whom she lived and Kevin Hill and his wife Karen of Bentonville, AR; two step-sons, Stephen J. Barone and his wife Gabrielle of Wilmington, NC and Joseph J. Barone of Newton, MA; a step-daughter, Christine Barone of Watertown, MA; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Michael Hill in March of 2021.

A graveside service for Robbie was held privately.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
