Robert W. "Bob" Card, 69, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in the comfort of his home.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Mandi-Lee Caporelli and her husband Eric, and their son, his “best friend” and grandson, Jacob Caporelli; a sister, Deborah Card; four brothers, Eugene Card Jr., Kevin Card, David Card, and Gary Card; nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother, James Card. Robert was born in Worcester, son of the late, Eugene and Lorraine (McDonald) Card, and has lived here all his life.
Robert worked at Holy Cross College for many years and enjoyed being the Facility Supervisor of the Hart Center. He had previously worked in security for Best Buy and Walmart and as a Correctional Officer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Corrections. Upon his graduation from Worcester Boys Trade School in 1973 he worked for several years as a Contractor Salesman for the Grossman Company.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and was most happy when spending time with his grandson. He loved Disney and shared the magic with friends and family on the many trips they would take together. He enjoyed watching sports with his brother Gary, especially the Boston Celtics, New York Giants, UConn Huskies and the Florida State Seminoles.
Bob’s presence will be missed, but his memory will remain in all our hearts.
