Robert F. Molinari Jr.

August 5, 1950 — July 3, 2018

Robert F. Molinari Jr., 67, of Leicester formerly of Worcester, a dedicated husband, father, and devoted grandfather, passed away peacefully Tuesday July 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.  Bob was born in Worcester son of the late Robert Sr. and Helen (Kirby) Molinari. Bob grew up on Grafton Hill where he met the love of his life Patricia A. Morrissey in May of 1976 which started their dedication to each other for 47 years.

Bob was a dedicated worker and began his career in Sales for the Liggett Vector Brands Company and worked there for 40 years eventually becoming Division Manager. He received many awards for his Achievements and excellence for performance for all his years there. Bob cherished the many friendships he made there among his co-workers. He retired in 2015.

Bob is survived by his wife and best friend Patricia, his son Bob Molinari and his wife Jen, a daughter Tara Molinari and her boyfriend Ryan Keddy, he was the proud grandfather to Bobby, Callie, and Matt, they were his pride and joy. Bob also leaves his brother Richard Molinari and his wife Anne, and his sister in laws, Gail, Mary, and Linda. He leaves many nephews and nieces, among them Toni and Gina Molinari and his great nephew Angelo Molinari. He was predeceased by his English Bulldog Winston.

Bob was a member of the Church of Our Lady of the Angels. He loved spending time with his family especially the Summers at Kennebunk where he enjoyed being on the beach with his grandkids. He enjoyed Golfing. Bob always looked forward to his morning Coffee at the Donut Café, and In- House on Shrewsbury Street. Bob was a big fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed watching sports. He always made time to see his Grandkids sports games, he was their biggest fan! Bob had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. His personality was of always being positive and would make any one laugh, his smile was contagious. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Roberts family would like to give a special thank you to all his family and friends, especially Fr. Monroe for helping us get through these difficult days. It is truly appreciated.

Roberts funeral will be held on Saturday July 7 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of the Angels 1222 Main St. Family and friends are invited to calling hours to celebrate Bobs life on Friday evening from 4PM to7PM. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Family Center at the above address.
