Robert A Morello, Sr

Robert Morello, Sr. 88 of Worcester passed away on Saturday January 1, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.  Born in Worcester, Robert was the son of the late Salvatore and Amelia (Arnieri) Morello.

Robert leaves his beloved wife Claire and his son Robert Jr and his wife Heather, three granddaughters Brittney and her husband Will of NY, Courtney, her husband Ryan and his daughter Emma of Sutton, and Lindsey of Florida.  Robert also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was especially fond of all the memories he shared with his niece Donna.  Robert was pre-deceased by his parents and sisters Jacqueline Bien, Rachel Rogan, and his brother Joseph Morello.

Robert was the former owner and operator of the Good Service Trucking Company serving the Worcester and surrounding area for over 20 years before retiring.  He was very active in and served his church, Our Lady of Loreto as a hospitality minister for many years and was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. 

The Morello family would like to thank the ICU Staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their assistance during this very difficult time. 

Funeral services for Robert will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022, at 10am at Our Lady of Loreto Church 37 Massasoit Rd. Worcester Ma 01604.  Please be advised that face masks will be required to attend Roberts Mass.  Burial with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery Worcester.  There are no calling hours.  The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL is privileged to serve the Morello family.
