Robert Ringer, 77, a lifelong resident of Worcester passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 after a period of declining health.
Robert was born September 12, 1943, the son of George B. and Lillian M. (Nording) Ringer and has lived in Worcester his entire life.
Robert is survived by many friends including Evelyn Brezniak his guardian, and the several housemates he has had over the years in the group home.
Robert was a man with a bright smile and huge heart. He was a man of faith and always carried his bible with him. He was a member and past president of the Self Advocacy Group in Worcester, and the Aspire Adult Day program. Robert enjoyed bowling, watching action movies, listening to music, arts and crafts and playing board games with his housemates.
Robert's funeral mass will be held, Wednesday, January 6th at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Angel’s Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. His burial with his parents in Rural Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in his name can be made to the Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Ave, Worcester. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
