Robert P. Sidloski, Sr., 67 of Clinton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, with his family by his side and after a heroic battle with cancer.
Bob was born in Worcester, where he graduated from Burncoat High School. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1968 at the age of 17, serving his country proudly in the Vietnam War. He was the proud recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Bob is survived by his wife of 16 years, Linda L. (Brooks) Sidloski, his daughter Tracy, his son Robert, his two step-sons Greg and Eric and their families.
Bob was also a devoted and beloved grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with them and supporting them with their interests. Bob was always their biggest fan.
Services for Bob will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from the MERCADNTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Bernard's Church of Our Lady of Providence Parish, 236 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Wednesday, July 25th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: St. Vincent Cancer and Wellness Center, 1 Eaton Place, Worcester, MA. 01608.
