Roger R Siematkowski 73 of Worcester, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle, nephew, and friend died peacefully at home on Saturday May 29, 2021. Born in Worcester, Roger was the son of the late George and Rose (Wozny) Siematkowski. A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in 1964 and a faithful member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Roger was employed at the Thom McAn Shoe Warehouse and Distribution Center in Auburn for many years. He has left behind not only his beloved family and friends; he has also left behind a legacy of pride in his Polish heritage that will live on for generations.
Roger leaves his beloved family, daughter Amy Vella and her husband Christopher and their two children Sadie Rose and Nathan, daughter Kerry Mustica her husband Salvatore and their two children Stella and Sofia, his sister Linda Bellucci and her husband Joseph, his great aunt Dorothy Wozny with whom he lived, and two nephews, Jason Raymond and Justin and his wife Rebecca Raymond, and several extended family members that loved him dearly.
Roger will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a faithful fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots, and Bruins. He loved fishing, music and dancing, but most of all he loved his family and loved spending time with all of them especially his four grandchildren. Roger was so proud of his Polish heritage that he was teaching his grandchildren the Polish language to be passed on for generations.
Roger would always end a visit or conversation with a personal message “Ja chie koham” (I love you) and would always say goodbye to his grandchildren with “I love you a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck” and then give them all a big bear hug squeeze that made them feel so loved.
