Roland J. Brouillard, loving father and grandfather passed away peacefully on May 3, 2018 in the Jewish Health Care Center. He was 82 years old.
Roland was born on December 11, 1935 in Worcester and was preceded in death by his father Emilian Brouillard and his mother Lucia (Allard) Brouillard. He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Miller and her husband Paul of Worcester; a brother, Ronald Brouillard of Northbridge; three sisters, Annette Boucher of Worcester, Loretta Steele of Worcester and Maryjane Lamanuzzi of Upton; three grandchildren, Matthew Miller of Worcester, Tara Brouillard of Spencer and Luke Brouillard of Boston; his daughter in-law, Jane Brouillard and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Stephen Brouillard and a brother, Reginald Brouillard.
Roland served our country in the United States Marines and was honorable discharged. He was a member of the Cherry Valley Post 443 American Legion where he enjoyed playing cards. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid New England sports fan who rarely missed a game. Mr. Brouillard work for Ostrow Electric in Worcester for forty three years, retiring in 2000.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Roland touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Roland’s funeral service will be celebrated the following day, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow to Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
