Ronald Pellegrino

Ronald J. Pellegrino, 47 of Worcester, passed away suddenly, Tuesday,  August 31st, 2021, after a long battle of chronic challenges of Cancer and Heart Disease.

Ronald was born and raised in Worcester. He graduated from Worcester Vocational High School and began a life of repairing cars and working in the service industry tending bar before retiring due to his illness.

Ronald is survived by his father, Ronald F. Pellegrino, his mother Ann Marie (Houle) Cravedi and her husband Richard;  his sister and best friend, Melissa “Missy” Chiaravalloti and her husband Mark, their son and his cherished nephew Cole Leo. His aunts and uncles, Marylou Houle his godmother,  Uncle Thomas Pellegrino, his wife Jacqueline and their daughters, Jillian and Julianna, Aunt Victoria “Vickie” Pellegrino and her companion Scott Schlegel, Aunt, Frances Goulet and her husband Paul. And many extended family members and friends.

A kind and gentle soul, Ronald loved animals especially his two dogs Hera and Juna. He loved the New York Yankees, Miami Dolphins, NASCAR, sports of any kind, muscle cars, fishing, Keno and playing cards, notably poker where he always went “All In”.  He was an American patriot who stood  for his country and cherished that he lived here.   He had a great attitude through all his challenges and a huge heart helping anyone who needed it.  He will be sorely missed.

A period of calling hours will be held Thursday, September 9th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St followed by a prayer service at 7 pm. Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Rd, East Brookfield, MA or the NEADS World Class Service Dogs, 305 Redemption Rock Trail, S. Princeton, MA
