Rosa L. Nunez

Rosa L. (Albino) Nunez, 58 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Rosa was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico.  She graduated from South High School in Worcester and has lived here most of her life.  She is survived by her husband, Enrique Nunez; a son, Luis “Tiny” Torres of Charlton; a daughter, Christina Torres of Worcester; her mother, Juana (Quiles) Albino; a step-son, Enrique Nunez of New York; four grandchildren, Nageli Torres, A’miaha Frye, A’nayahliz Frye and Jamar Jack; six brothers, a sister; several nieces, nephews and extended family.  She is predeceased by her father, Blas Albino and two brothers.

A period of calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 4-7 pm with her funeral service immediately following at 7pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will be held at a later date in the Dominican Republic.
