Rose M. Grillo

January 25, 1934 — April 7, 2022

Rose M. Grillo, beloved aunt and great aunt, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 after a brief illness.  A life-long resident of Worcester, Rose was the daughter of Italian immigrants Peter and Carmela (Cosentino) Grillo.  Rose was extremely dedicated to family.  She leaves one niece, Elaine Palumbo and her husband Mike, three nephews, Robert “Bob” DeCaro and wife MaryEllen, Michael Grillo and his wife Erin, Joseph Grillo and his wife Hilary, sister-in-law Mary Grillo, many great nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Concetta “Connie” and Samuel DeCaro, and three brothers, Louis Grillo, Peter Grillo, and Rosario Grillo.  Most recently, she was blessed to share the company of a special friend, Mitch Hilow. 

Rose was a graduate of Commerce High School, and was employed for many years at Worcester Credit Bureau.  She enjoyed walking, reading, and traveling with family and friends.  She loved Cape Cod and especially, Old Silver beach in Falmouth, where she spent most summer months.  She always found joy in sharing the accomplishments of her family, and we will never forget her love and loyalty.  She will be greatly missed.
