Rose Marie Maurier

Rose Marie Maurier, 67, of Worcester passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Saint Francis Home in Worcester, from complications of liver cancer.

Rose is survived by three sisters, Anita Maurier of Sutton, Lucille A. Maurier and Theresa I. Peters, both of Zephyrhills, FL; numerous cousins; nieces, nephews, and many friends.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald H. Maurier and William J. Maurier; and by her dear friend, Stephen Bird.  Rose was born in Haverhill, daughter of the late, Lionel and Lorette (Archambault) Maurier.  She graduated from Haverhill High School.

Upon graduating from Haverhill High School, Rose moved west, finally settling in Austin, Texas; there she worked at area restaurants and saloons, where she was loved by patrons.  She was a restless soul who enjoyed fishing, dancing and going to concerts.  She returned to the Worcester area to be close to family in 2000.  She loved cats and collecting penguin.
