Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, and Sitto. She cherished her family. Her greatest joy was being Sitto to her 5 grandchildren. She was instrumental in their lives. Sleepovers, outings, and attending events with the grandchildren were regular occurrences. She was a marvelous cook and baker; no one ever left her home hungry or empty handed. She enjoyed spending time doing puzzles, listening to music, collecting camels, and watching the Red Sox and her favorite player, Big Papi. She was a regular at Friendly’s where everyone knew her name! Ruth was kind-hearted and compassionate, always putting others before herself. She was a woman of strong faith and devoted countless hours to her church.
The Welsh family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living Harmony Neighborhood for their kindness, compassion, and love over the past year while taking care of our precious Mom.
