Sally Ann (Feeherry) Kruczynski, 94, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at the St. Francis Home in Worcester on November 18, 2018. Born on June 20, 1924 in Worcester to David A. and Julia E. (McCarthy) Feeherry, she is predeceased by her devoted and beloved husband of 62 years, Victor J. Kruczynski, Sr. Sally leaves her six children: Anne Brochu, Victor, Jr., Mary McNamara, Clare Liberis, David, and Christopher and his wife Tina. Her eight loving grandchildren knew her as “Nana”: Alyssa Mowatt and David Brochu, Emily Lazzaro and William Liberis, Meghan and Christopher McNamara and Eliza and Nicholas Kruczynski. She also leaves seven great grandchildren whom she adored: Shane McNamara, Madison Mowatt, Evan Lazzaro, Lucy Brochu, Sally Lazzaro, Noah Brochu and Adaline McNamara. Her sister Margaret E. Wolniewicz and several nieces and nephews survive her. Two siblings predeceased her: David A. Feeherry, Jr. and Mary C. Bonina.
Sally attended St. Paul's elementary school and graduated from St. Peter’s High School in Worcester. She attended Worcester Business School and worked at Barnard, Sumner and Putnam in Worcester before marrying Victor.
Sally was a devoted mother and wife and a faithful parishioner of St. John's Parish and the former Ascension Church. She lovingly raised her six children on Vernon Hill. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, crafts, crocheting, vacationing in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and trips to Foxwoods with her husband and family.
Sally enjoyed staying informed and discussing current events and politics and was a lifelong supporter of Worcester County Light Opera.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Rockwell Unit at the St. Francis Home and the staff of the Notre Dame Hospice for their loving care of Sally.
Family and friends whose lives Sally touched are invited to the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Tuesday, November 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, November 21, before leaving in procession to St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
