Sherrie-Lee Swift

Sherrie-Lee Swift, 50 of Upton, formerly of Northbridge, passed away unexpectedly at her family home on Friday, July 9, 2021.

Sherrie-Lee was born on February 28, 1971, in Worcester, MA.  She grew up in Mendon and Milford area where she was a graduate of Milford High School and later attended classes at Portland School of Art in Portland, Maine.  Sherrie-Lee worked alongside her parents at their family business, Elegant Windows in Milford as an interior designer and manager for many years.  She loved fashion and was passionate about her own side business online, buying and selling clothing and accessories.  Sherrie-Lee was a beautiful and gorgeous person.  She was loved so very much by her family and friends and their hearts are broken forever.

Sherrie-Lee is survived by two beloved daughters, Victoria Lee Costa of North Smithfield, RI. and Lilli Irene Swift of Upton; her parents, Gerald F. and Cheryl D. (Carey) Swift; her brother, Craig E. Swift; a niece, Brooke I. Swift all of North Smithfield, RI.; her cousin, best friend whom she called “Sissy,” Sheila Melissa Buzulis of Milford; three aunts, Sheila Buzulis of Millbury, Alicia Swift of Spencer and Joanne Garcia and her husband Jose of Worcester; three uncles, Lawrence Carey of Wareham, MA., James Swift and his wife Kathy of Charlotte, NC and Stephen Swift of Nantucket, MA; her beloved Shih Tzu, “Bowie.”  She also leaves several cousins and friends.  Sherrie-Lee is safely home in heaven with her maternal grandmother, Irene (Taberner) Carey; her paternal grandparents, Harold and Alice (Goddard) Swift.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, July 19^th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.  Services for Sherrie-Lee will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester.  Burial will follow in Cherry Valley Cemetery, Towtaid Rd., Leicester.
