Shirley V. Small

Shirley Victoria Rosemary (Pearson) Small, 75 of Berlin, formerly of Arlington, MA and a longtime resident of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at UMass Memorial Campus.

Shirley was born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late John and Virginia (Pearson) Brydon and granddaughter to the late John and Esther (Stein) Pearson.  She graduated from Arlington High School.  Shirley worked for over 20 years in the accounts receivable department of Cumberland Farms Corporation retiring in 2010.  Shirley also worked as a floor supervisor for Hudson Lock in Hudson, Ma. In the 1970s.  She was a quiet and sweet home body who kept to herself.  She enjoyed the comforts of her home and loved being on her computer. 

Shirley is survived by her son, Charles A. Small and his wife Yana of North Brookfield; two daughters, Tracey Sweet and her husband Cliff of Worcester and Kimberlee Gonzales and her husband Kevin of Berlin; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services for Shirley will be held privately.  She will be buried alongside her parents at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston, MA.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
