Stacey D Gardell

Hi. My name is Stacey Dawn Gardell. I am 45 years old, and a Holden resident. I am formally of Worcester, and I passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, from a rare form of Cancer.  My family I love was by my side.

Although I have physically left this world too soon, I had a good life. I attended Worcester Schools, namely Burncoat Jr., Sr High, and earned my bachelor’s degree from Worcester State College majoring in Business. I then worked at  Allmerica, Sunlife and most recently at Carroll Enterprises.

As a child I was a Synchronized Swimmer and a Dancer. I was extremely fortunate to have many wonderful people in my life;   My parents Stephen and Ellen (Supovitz) Gardell. My brother Sean Gardell of North Brookfield, and my niece, best friend and favorite person in the world, Natalie; Grampa Rei, my little dog Jax;  many aunts, Uncles and cousins and a lot of friends. My heart is so thankful for Meghan, Heidi, Tara, Pauline, and Marcy who were by my side with my parents through my whole Cholangiocarcinoma journey, which is a very rare Cancer especially for a young woman my age. 

My calling hours will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. followed by my funeral service at 4:00 pm.
