Stanley R. Gustafson, 67 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.
Stanley was born in Worcester, a son of the late Stanley R. and Lucienne (LeBlanc) Gustafson. He worked as a machine operator at Allied Machine Products for many years before he retired in 2017. Stanley continued to keep busy and worked as a cook for Mike’s Moonwalk amongst other companies but most recently as a cook at Beaumont Nursing Center in Westborough. Stanley was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a car enthusiast and loved spending time with family, especially his granddaughter.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Laurie A. (Parella) Gustafson; his son, Keith Gustafson; a daughter, Emily Gustafson; three brothers, Roy, Mark, and Timothy Gustafson all of Worcester; three sisters, Linda Fields of Hampton, NH., Ann Porcaro and Rose Sinclair both of Worcester; a granddaughter, Kaylie Gustafson; many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 4-6 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 6:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
