Stephen A Esteves

Stephen A. Esteves, 61, of Worcester, passed away in the comfort of his home on Monday, March 6, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Ingrid M. (Chin) Esteves; their daughter, Stephanie G. Esteves, both of Worcester; a brother, Robert B. Esteves and his wife Jacqui of Rutland; his best friend, Vincent Tiscione of Leicester; many nieces, nephews, including Krysta & Alexa Esteves, and a great niece, Lyla.  He was predeceased by his sister, E. Anne Esteves in December 1975.  Stephen was born in Worcester, son of the late, Albert M. and Maureen T. (Hennessey) Esteves, and has lived here all his life.  He graduated from Burncoat High School and I.T.T. Technical School.

Stephen worked as an instrument technician for many years, primarily at Worcester Scale.  He enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, and rooted for the New England sports teams (unlike his brother).  He was a softball coach for several years when his daughter played Joe Schwartz Softball.  

Stephen loved to be with his family and close friends.  He enjoyed all the simple things that love, family, and friendship could give.

Calling Hours will be on Thursday morning, March 9, from 9 a.m. until a his Funeral Service begins at 12 Noon in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
