Steven Lahti

Steven F. Lahti, 47, of Worcester, MA passed away August 31, 2022 at the Rose Monahan Hospice House after a long battle with cancer.

A lifelong resident of New England, Steve graduated from Holy Name Central Catholic High School and worked various jobs in human resources and customer service before being diagnosed with cancer in 2018.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Lahti of Worcester, a son, Justin Lahti of Concord, NH, his sister Debra and her husband, Eli Huard of Paxton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, Fred W. Lahti, Jr. who passed last year. He also leaves behind many lifelong friends and extended family who have supported and loved him throughout the years.

A die-hard Star Wars fan, Steve’s spirit is now one with the force and can be at peace for eternity with all the Jedi that have gone before him.

No immediate services are planned and a private interment will be scheduled in the near future. For those who would like to pay their respects, in lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to a cancer research or mental health awareness charity of your choice.
