Susan M. (McNutt) Jennette, 64, of Charlton, passed away on November 27, 2024 at UMass Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Susan was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Robert E. and Joan (Cronin) McNutt.
Susan worked for many years as a Teacher’s Aide for the Worcester Public School System, where she was able to connect with students with various special needs. She later became a private PCA.
Susan loved to be with family and was a volunteer at Pine Acres in Oakham when her children were younger. She was an avid Celtics fan, and loved reading, especially Stephen King stories. She also enjoyed being an aerobics instructor and loved to sing and dance. Some of her favorite memories were spending time with family at Hampton Beach. Susan was a lover of life and was proud of being ten years sober. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Susan spent many years organizing and hosting benefits and functions for friends in need and other organizations, a testament to her caring for others.
Susan is survived by a daughter, Juli Peterson of Woodstock, CT; two sons, Gary Spring and his wife, Gail, of Gastonia, NC, and Daniel Spring and his partner, Faith Newell of Worcester; two sisters, Joan McNutt, and Christine Sinclair, both of Charlton; two brothers, Robert E. McNutt, Jr of Auburn, and Steven McNutt of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Gabrielle Spring Morales, Rebekah Spring, David Corley Jr., Chloe Corley, Keeley Spring, Keegan Spring, Peyton Edwards; a great granddaughter, Evelyn Morales; many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The White Room (The Crompton Bldg) 138 Green Street in Worcester on Saturday, December 14 from 4 - 7 pm.
