Susan J. McCarraher

Susan J. McCarraher, 57, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Harrington Hospital from COVID 19.

Susan was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Raymond G. McCarraher and Shirley B. (Dionne) Richard.  She worked many years as a nurse’s aide for various nursing homes throughout Worcester County.  Susan enjoyed bingo, going to the casino and bowling.  She will be dearly missed.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Amy Mostacci and her husband Anthony; her sister, Carol A. Taylor of Spencer; two brothers, Alan McCarraher and Robert McCarraher both of Spencer; three grandchildren, Robert White, Ahlissa White and Brianna White all of Florida; a great grandson, Christian Kotewa; four nieces and four nephews, Tammy McCarraher and her significant other Joe Falco of Templeton, Phil McCarraher and his fiancé Cassi Baumgarten of Auburn, Kim Lugo of Worcester, David Taylor of Worcester, Terry Sanborn of Tampa, FL., Michelle Blinkhorn of Ocala, FL., Jeffrey Blinkhorn of Dunnellon, FL. and Christopher Blinkhorn of Florida; sixteen great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.  She is predeceased by a brother, Raymond McCarraher and a sister, Donna Blinkhorn.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 4-7 pm with her funeral service immediately following at 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will be held privately.
