Tatum Jean Davenport

Tatum Jean Davenport, the beloved daughter of Devin and Mikaela Davenport of Oakham, passed away at a tender age on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

 Born on November 2, 2023, Tatum was the light of her family, the cherished only child of her parents and the only grandchild on both sides, filling their lives with immense joy and love.

 Tatum was a silly and lovable baby who brought endless smiles to her family. She loved playing peekaboo, reading books, clapping along to nursery rhymes, and eating peanut butter oatmeal. Tatum adored watching “Miss Rachel” and joyfully banging on her xylophone. Tatum loved looking at “everything, everything” with her eyes wide in wonder at the world around her. She brought warmth and laughter to every room. Though her time on this earth was brief, her impact on those who loved her will last forever.

 The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Criterion Early Intervention and to the dedicated men and women of Worcester Emergency Medical Services, Worcester Fire Department, Worcester Police Department, and the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at UMass Medical Center, whose tireless efforts to save Tatum will never be forgotten.

 Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Monday, December 23, 2024 from 4-6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with her funeral service to immediately follow at 6:00 pm.
