Teresa D Geofredo

Teresa D. Geofredo, 99, of Worcester, died peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care of Worcester.  Born in Worcester, Teresa was the daughter of the late Sergio and Katerine (DiPinto) Caprioli, and beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Geofredo who died in 1982.

Teresa, affectionately known as Nana to her family, loved the celebration of life through cooking and family gatherings. Teresa was a gifted seamstress and dress designer for several area coat and dress manufacturers in the Worcester area.  During WWII, Teresa proudly shared her talents in the war effort by making uniforms for the soldiers.  Teresa was a longtime member of Mount Carmel Church and the Golden Years Club. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Bodor and her husband David, of Trumbull, CT and Cynthia Barton and her husband Bruce, of Oxford, four grandchildren, Jim Bodor and his wife Stephanie of Grafton, Alicia Graziano and her husband Jason of Trumbull Ct, Bruce Barton and Jarred Barton both of Oxford, and 5 great grandchildren.  Teresa was pre-deceased by her 8 siblings, Jean Caputo, Joseph Perrone, Grace Ferrie, Antoinette Toscano, Mary Genatossio, Leo Caprioli, Bertolo Caprioli, and Carolyn Misilo. 

Funeral services and burial in St. Johns Cemetery were held privately for the family.  The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL is privileged to serve the Geofredo family.
