Theresa Santora

Theresa Santora, 94, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Notre Dame Long Term Care Center.

Theresa is survived by nieces and nephews, including, Carol McDermott and her husband James of Worcester, Richard Santora and his wife Janice of Shrewsbury, Domenic Santora and his wife Kim of Naples, FL, and Elaine McGrath of Worcester.  Theresa was predeceased by her long time companion, Richard Sinasky, and by three brothers and a sister, Ralph, Pasquale, and James Santora and Antoinette Marrone.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Domenic and Carlotta (Roncone) Santora, and has lived here for most of her life.

Growing up in the Shrewsbury Street Neighborhood of Worcester, Theresa had a strong bond of love with her family; and from an early age she worked at the family corner grocery store, Santora’s Market on Seward Street, until they closed.  She then went to work at the former Bradlees Department Store, where she retired as store manager.

Theresa was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel/Our Lady of Loreto.  She enjoyed traveling, cruises, visiting casinos in Connecticut, Florida, and Vegas.  She also enjoyed shopping, dining out and doing aerobics. 

Funeral Services will be held privately.

Her family would like to thank Dr. So, Sue, Katie, and all the wonderful staff at Notre Dame Long Term Care, for the kindness and caring shared with Theresa.
