Thomas P Faler

Thomas P. Faler, 65, of Worcester, MA passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, following a lengthy illness. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Carl A. and Marie R. (Paciello) Faler.  Tom leaves behind his lifelong partner of twenty-six years, Marlene Blair; Nine children : Ann Marie Faler, Eric Faler, Tony Faler, Matt Faler, Laura Aucoin, Paul Adkins, Stephen Adkins, Chris Adkins, and Mary Adkins; Twelve grandchildren and One great-grandson.  A sister, Carla (Faler) Walsh and her husband Stephen, several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by a brother, Carl Faler, Jr.

An outdoor enthusiast, Tom enjoyed watching all sporting events and loved fishing. He and Marlene also enjoyed having numerous friends and family members in and out of their home as they pleased, where they had an unwritten and unspoken open-door invitation.

Tom’s funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21 in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester.  There will be a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a brief funeral service at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Lung Association in Massachusetts at 1661 Worcester Rd, Ste 301 Framingham, MA, 01701.
