Thomas Zwicker, 69, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, embraced by the love of his family.
Tom will be greatly missed by his two sons, Robyn D. Zwicker and his wife Sara of Grafton and Matthew J. Zwicker and his wife Erica of Worcester; two daughters, Carmen Zwicker of Worcester and Lorraine Belair of Spencer; his brothers Owen and his wife Janet of Holderness, NH, Robert and his wife Sharon of Denver, CO, David and his wife Jill of Northfield, NJ; his sister Mary Lowth and her husband Chuck of Meredith, NH, his grandchildren Thomas, Ariella, Gianna, Ashton, Javon, Madison, Lucy, Kayliann, and Cayden; his nieces Anne, Alison, and Ciara; his nephews Haze and Blaine, and his dear friend Terry Camara all whom he loved very much.
He was predeceased by his sister Janice of Plymouth, NH, and his brothers Jerry of Dover, NH and Ricky of Campton, NH and his beloved faithful companions Murphy, Chopper, his best bud Harley, to name a few.
Tom was born in Plymouth, NH, son of the late Owen and Doreen Zwicker. He graduated from Plymouth High School. As fate would have it, he moved to Worcester making the city his second home. He worked as a rehabilitation counselor, carpet store manager, painter, general contractor and for many years at Polar Beverages before retiring.
Tom cherished many memories camping and loved a good day of fishing. He loved to cook with his best friends at his feet. Tom enjoyed watching football, especially the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos. He loved good music and a nice dip in the pool.
Tom was an avid motorcyclist and he was most free and at peace gripping the handlebars of his Harley Davidson cruising down the road.
Tom’s children were his pride and joy and he never hesitated to express how much he loved them.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2021 beginning with a visitation from 9:00am-11:00am and the service at 11:00am at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the North American Shar-Pei Rescue (a non-profit organization dedicated to helping this special breed of dog Tom held dear in his heart), by visiting www.sharpeirescue.com/.
