Tobarran Rameshwar Ramjewan

Tobarran Rameshwar Ramjewan passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 4th, 1936 in Handsome Tree Mahaica Creek, Guyana. He was the son of Ramjag Ramjiawan and Bhagmattie (Dhanupdharry) Ramjiawan. He was married to Taramattie (Balliram) Ramjewan in February 20, 1955. They both migrated to Worcester, MA in 1992.

He is survived by his wife Taramattie Ramjewan, children Drupattie, Prakash, Krishna, Geeta, Ramu and the late Eshwar. Father in law of the late Ramcharran, Lil (Chandra), Indira, Doodie, Rishi, Anjie. Grandfather of Rushie, Asha, Oumkar, Natasha, Avitree, Keshree, Sabrina, Sachin, and the grandfather in law of Siree, Robin, Tesha, Taylor, Ameet, Anil. Great-Grandfather to Tanuja, Pooja, Ishaan, Zayne, Logan, Jerry, Aishani, Aanya, Anusha and Kiaan. He is survived by his sister Jasmine, brother Doodnauth, and predeceased by his siblings Gowkarran, Basepattie, Ramkarran, Sundarie known as Chan, Rowttie, Katie, Jagnarine, Lloyd Hardwar. He leaves behind many loved in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tobarran was a gentle soul with the most charming smile. He was the patriarch and pillar of our family and will forever be missed by his dear ones. Love always.

What Makes A Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patient of eternity,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,
