Veronica is survived by her beloved daughter, Khaleesi Blandino; her adoring parents, Marilyn Negron and her husband Gabriel Henriquez, and her father Jose Alicea and his wife Judy Enriquez; her stepfather, Giovany Tavera; her loving siblings, Alexio Negron, Janida Tavera, Joenny Tavera, Emelis Henriquez, Joey Alicea and Adam Alicea; her admirable grandmother, Leyda Negron; her cherished aunt, Janet Corderro and Luz Negron; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Veronica was predeceased by her grandparents, Pedro Negron, Ramon Alicea, and Inez Alvarado; her great-grandmother, Carmen Medina; her aunt, Jacqueline Negron, and Uncle, Pedro Negron Jr.
Veronica was passionate about taking care of her daughter, spending time with her nephew, nieces, and enjoying being around kids. Veronica enjoyed the outdoors, jumping on the jet ski, and the art of tattooing. She was a good-hearted person, always there for whoever needed her. Veronica will be greatly missed.
Calling Hours will be on Friday, October 6th, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 7th, at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 570 Lincoln St, Worcester, at 11:00 a.m., with interment immediately following at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
