Virginia (Conboy) Pinto

August 15, 1928 — April 30, 2018

Virginia (Conboy) Pinto,  89, of Worcester and Merritt Island Florida, passed away peacefully Monday, April 30th 2018, joining in heaven her husband of 64 years Arnold L. Pinto who passed away December 18, 2016.

Virginia was born in Boston,  a daughter of Irish immigrants Thomas F. and Agnes (O’Malley) Conboy.  Raised in Dorchester, Virginia married Arnold on August 30, 1952 in Boston and spent the next 64 years, with love, devotion, dedication and family.  She was a beautiful person who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; spending time with family and friends, family dinners.  Along with her husband Arnold, Virginia’s children always came first in her life.  She was the matriarch of her family raising seven children and remained devoted to them throughout their life.  Virginia truly believed that faith, family and friends were the most important in her life and she had room in her heart for everyone she met.  She was very generous with her love, time and resources, and helped anyone she could.  Her belief in God kept her grounded and helped her through all life's challenges.   Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts but her loving and caring soul will not be forgotten.

Virginia is survived by her seven children, sons, Bruce and his wife Mary, John, Christopher and his wife Jean all of Worcester; Arnold and his wife Sarah of Ashland, Robert and his wife Maria of Medway, daughters, Elizabeth Early and her husband Francis, Dorothy Quist both of Worcester; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends both here and in Florida.  She was pre deceased by two brothers, Thomas and Richard Conboy and five sisters, Marie Conboy, Helen Conley, Maura Reynolds-Ahern, Janet Cody and Dorothy Nazzaro.

She was a member of Christ the King Church, and enjoyed meeting people and enjoying friends in Florida from all over the country.
