In 1965, Bill along with a few partners purchased C.C. Lowell where he served as President and CEO until 1987 when the company was sold. He then enjoyed part-time work up the street at Mount Pleasant Country Club.

Bill’s biggest passions in life were his wife, his family, his home and traveling. As a family, they camped all over the United States and took many ski trips together in the Northeast. Later, Bill and Carolyn started traveling internationally covering Canada, Mexico and Europe. During the Millennium, one of his favorite trips was a 120-day cruise ship trip around the world.
