William R. Padovano, 78, a longtime resident of Charlton, passed away after suffering a medical incident on Sunday September 3rd, 2023, while vacationing in Aruba. Bill was born on February 8th, 1945, in Worcester. He was one of seven children of Patsy "General" and Katherine M. (Fuginiti) Padovano. He grew up in the Union Hill neighborhood of Worcester, before marrying the "love of his life" and wife for the past 55 years, Linda C.Bartczak. Bill owned and operated Eastern Auto Body in Auburn for over 30 years. His favorite daily quote was "Jorge to the office!!" Jorge Torres was by Bill's side for all 30 plus of those years. He is survived by his love, Linda; two children, Melissa Begg of Charlton and Bryan Padovano of Grafton; two grandchildren he was so proud of and who lovingly called him "Papa", Aleah and Johnny. Also two brothers, Arthur Padovano of Farmington CT. and Richard Padovano of Whitinsville; a sister, Kathy J. Kiritsy of Holden and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, a brother, Ronald Padovano and two sisters, Maria J. Fotiades and Patricia Padovano predeceased him. Bill was a true family man with a huge heart, big smile and sensitive way. In his life nothing was more important than his wife and his family. He always placed them first in his life no matter what. His greatest moments were those spent with his family during special occasions, holidays and anytime he could be with them. Funeral services were held privately.
