Angela Marie (DeNicola) St. Martin, 88, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, in the comfort of her home, after a long battle with dementia. Her husband, with whom she shared sixty-one years, Joseph R. St. Martin, predeceased her in October 2019.
Angela is survived by her daughter, Sabrina St. Martin, who cared for her mother with gentle loving hands that allowing her to remain at home. Angela is also survived by many nieces, nephews, including her favorite Matthew, Godchildren, and many kind neighbors, especially Kathy and Mike King, and Anthony and Theresa Yesket, who always looked out for her. Angela is the last surviving of eight children born to Giuseppe and Carmella (Maiorano) DeNicola; pre-deceasing her were, Laura, Peter, and Raffaela DeNicola, Carmela “Millie” Sokowaski, Antoinette Koki, Laura Bedard, and Isabella Chionchio.
Angela graduated from Commerce High School and began working for New England Telephone and Telegraph. She later worked as an executive secretary to the Executive Director of various nursing homes throughout Worcester.
Angela was devout in her faith as a Catholic, praying the rosary daily and attending church regularly. She was known by many for the beautiful wedding and birthday cakes she crafted for family and friends.
The St. Martin family would like to thank the Jewish Home Hospice team especially Jen, who took great care of Angela; and a thank you to nurses Marlene, Jilda, and Joyce for the outstanding care and compassion given in her final days.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 18, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester. Interment beside her loving husband will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
