Carol Malok

Carol A. (Sheehy) Malok, 71 of Worcester, formerly a lifelong resident of Derby, CT., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehab.

Carol was born in New Haven, Ct., a daughter of the late John F. and Anna Mae (Wring) Sheehy, Sr.  She graduated from Derby High School and later earned her certification in secretarial. Carol worked as administrative assistant for an insurance company for many years. She previously wrote obituaries for the Evening Sentinel and the New Haven Register for many years.  Carol loved drawing and loved her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Kerry Winco and her husband Jeff of Sturbridge and Melissa France of Waterbury, CT.; a brother, John F. Sheehy, Jr. and his wife Marilyn Tewksbury; five grandchildren, Twins Jamie and Alex Malok and Nathan, Jillian and Ryan Winco; two nieces, Heather Ferro of Andover and Michele Finley and her husband Jason of Highlands Ranch, CO.

Services for Carol will be held privately and at a later date.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
