Cheryl A. (Musci) Pedjoe, 52, of Spencer, formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Milford Regional Hospital/Dana Farber, surrounded by loving family.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of nearly twenty-seven years, Mark A. Pedjoe; their beloved daughter, Amanda Cheryl Pedjoe of Spencer; her mother and step-father, Jean (Bianco) Congdon and her husband Wayne S. Congdon of Shrewsbury; her father and step-mother Sergio “Sam” Musci and his wife Paula (Covotta) of Clearwater, FL; two brothers, Edward E. Musci and his wife Gracelyn of Liverpool, NY, and Mark W. Congdon and his fiancé Jack Musil of Hopkinton; a sister, Melissa J. Cheever and her husband Joseph of Millbury; two stepdaughters,
Sarah E Bearse of Prudence Island, RI, and Erin Bearse of Webster; six grandchildren, Decklan, Finnely, Sawyer, Enzo, Reaghan, and Veona; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cheryl was born in Worcester, but raised in Shrewsbury, where she graduated from Shrewsbury High School and later Quinsigamond Community College. They have been living in Spencer for eighteen years.
Cheryl and Mark shared their first date at a Patriots game and their love for one another blossomed like the number of titles won by their favorite football team. They shared a great love for camping, the beach, 80’s music, and dancing. She was a dedicated member of Mary Queen of the Rosary Parish and was a long-time Catechism teacher. She was a member of Peaceful Creations Wellness Center and was so blessed to have gotten to know Ginnie Bonnici as her spiritual guide and friend.
Cheryl spent several years in retail management before becoming immersed in banking. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as an Assistant Vice President/Market Manager for Webster 5. She was a long-time member of the local BNI organization where she served as treasurer and secretary.
Calling Hours for Cheryl will be on Thursday, May 25, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be on Friday, departing the funeral home at 9 a.m. in procession to a 10 a.m. Mass at Mary, Queen of The Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
