Dolly then had a career in Nursing that spanned 35 years at Worcester City Hospital, retiring in 1988, as the Assistant Director of Nursing.  On June 9, 1955, Dolly married the “Love of her Life” Edmund Hebert, and began a life of faith, love, family, and life raising their children in Shrewsbury before Edmund left her side after 54 years of marriage.

Dolly is survived by her best friend and daughter, Kathleen Kender and her husband George Dion of Shrewsbury,  her daughter in law, Susan Hebert;  grandchildren, Kathelyn Kender and her husband, Shane, Lauren Kender-Sullivan and her husband Dan, Matthew Hebert and his wife Nicole and Christopher Hebert; two great grandchildren, Avery, and Connor Hebert; extended family and friends.  In addition to her parents, husband, and son, Dolly is predeceased by three brothers, Reverend Charles Borowski, William, and Edward Borowski.

The family would like to thank her caregivers at the Notre Dame Healthcare Center and Hospice, including the South Wing Staff and hospice Nurses, Jackie and Rene and Deacon Steve.

With a passion for religion, she was a devoted member,  and daily mass attendee of St Anne's Church. She instilled in her children a strong belief in God and a dedicated work ethic.   She was a proud and loving wife, mother, gramma.  With Edmund, Dolly enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, and the “Wonder of it all.”  She loved to read, and attend her grandchildren’s activities and involvements.
