Linda A. Nowosacki

Linda A. (LeCour) Nowosacki, 71, of Charlton, MA passed away May 21, 2023, after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of the late James Nowosacki and beloved mother of Jesse Nowosacki and his partner Alicia Liden of Charlton and the late Michael Nowosacki. She leaves behind her sister, Kathleen Winkelmann of Sturbridge, a brother, Francis LeCour, of FL, and brothers-in-law William Nowosacki of CO and Gerald Nowosacki and his wife Sheila of Shrewsbury, as well as nieces Tara Furey, her husband John and their children, Michelle Willette, Bridget Nowosacki, Keely Nowosacki, Kerry Stephens and Kathy Stines.  The family wishes to thank Linda’s cousin Carol for her unwavering care and support during Linda’s illness.  In addition to her husband and son, Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Barbara (Rugg) LeCour.

Linda was very proud of her career with the Worcester Public Schools as the Director of Contracts, having worked her way up from being a volunteer in  Kindergarten classrooms to holding an executive position. She also held a second job with Rotman’s Furniture for 20 years where she made many friends along the way. Linda was a huge sports fan and rarely missed a Patriots or Red Sox game, whether it was in person or on TV. She also cherished yearly trips to Old Orchard Beach with her sister Kathy and any other time spent with her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 26 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, departing in procession from the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, May 25 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
