Madeline B. Herman, Jr.

Madeline B. Herman, Jr. 67, of  Millbury died peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2022, in her home.

Madeline was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Phillip & Madeline B. (Pecora) Herman.  She graduated from North High School and received her Medical Secretarial degree from Salter College. She worked as an Executive Assistant for UMASS Medical School for over 35 years.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her siblings, Barbara (Herman) Zecco of Worcester, Geraldine Herman of Douglas, Philip M. Herman, Jr.  and his wife Debbie, Mary June (Herman) Courtois and her husband Marty, Elizabeth (Herman) DePalo and her husband David, Thomas M. Herman and his wife Monique, all of Worcester.  She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great  nephews and great nieces. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Joseph M Herman, Sr.; and a nephew,  Anthony DePalo and brother in-law John Zecco.

Madeline enjoyed going to the casinos and she loved to crochet, blessing many people with her beautiful afghans over the years.  Madeline lived a life full of love and devotion to God, her family and her friends.  She will be greatly missed by many. 

A Funeral service for Madeline will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  There will be a calling hour from 10 a.m.– 11 a.m.  in the funeral home prior to her Service at 11 am at Mercadante.  Interment will follow at Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
