Pearl Gail Rawson

July 24, 1940 — August 21, 2022

Pearl Gail Rawson (Burdett), passed away on Sunday, August 21st with family by her side.  Born in Worcester on July 24, 1940 to the late Earl E. Burdett Sr. & Olga C. Burdett (Goodhue).

Pearl attended North Brookfield High School.  She worked for many years at Beech Haven, Stone House & Winter Hill Nursing Homes caring and helping others.

Pearl was an avid bingo player. She loved to knit and crochet many beautiful things for her family and friends that will be cherished for all our lifetimes.  The beautiful Christmas decorations she made will spend Christmases filling our homes with loving memories and great joy. She possessed a quick wit and vivacious personality which will be sadly missed and remembered always. 

Pearl was proceeded by her beloved husband William Rawson; one sister Linda Lee Burdett and two brothers Earl Burdett Jr. and Edward Burdett.  2 sister-in-laws Violet Malone & Diane Pizzarella.

She leaves her two loving daughters Caroline (Kim) Rawson and Pamela Rawson-Davis  She also leaves her brothers Robert Burdett and wife Nancy Burdett, Daniel Burdett and wife Ellen Burdett, Mark Burdett and wife Patti Burdett.  Her sisters Gail L. West and late husband Roger P. West Sr., Earleen Shoblom and husband Donald Shoblom Sr., Sandra Scanlon and late husband Arthur Scanlon Sr., Ginger Nezuch, Darleen Rondeau and husband Al Rondeau. 

She leaves her four grandchildren which were her pride and joy:  Todd Davis, Corinne Davis, Shannon Brodeur and her husband Nicholas,    & Shane Davis.  Many precious great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces including “The Brat”. 

Calling hours will be held at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm with a prayer service being held at 6:30pm.  Burial will be private.
